College Smash-Mouth Bass Invitational Arkansas Tech and Lake Dardanelle

On April 22 and 23, Arkansas Tech and Lake Dardanelle will be the host for the College Smash-Mouth Bass Invitational. This tournament will not be a qualifier for the College National Championship Tournament, but it is the first tournament of its kind as far as being a national invitational tournament allowing all smash-bass teams throughout the country to participate. Lake Dardanelle is one of the possible locations for the national championship, so let's get behind this event and all do our part to make it a huge success.
As we learned with the Bassmaster Elite 50 tournaments, there is no better site in the country, and there are no better fishing fans than right here in the Arkansas River Valley.
Teams will begin arriving Thursday, April 20, and Friday, April 21. On Friday night, there will be a dinner provided by the Arkansas Tech University Hospitality Association on the Tech campus, and official registration for the contestants will also be held. Saturday, April 22, will be an official practice day where the teams can familiarize themselves with the lake and search for fishing spots.
The actual tournament will run from first safe light until 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23. The official weigh-in will begin at approximately 3 p.m. Highlights of the weigh--in and awards include a few special guests including co-emcees professional angler Ray Scheide and Bob Robbins
