Spring chinook catches Olympic Peninsula

Spring chinook catches have been good at the mouth of the Lewis River, but sea lions are actively snatching hooked fish. Catches of spring chinook and summer-run steelhead have been fair to good in the Cowlitz River.
Boat anglers have been catching spring chinook in the lower end of the Kalama River, but both steelhead and chinook are not biting well in the middle and upper sections of the river.
On the Olympic Peninsula, spring chinook are being caught in the Sol Duc and a few in the Quillayute.
Lingcod fishing has been fair in Tacoma waters and halibut fishing is off to a good start in Marine Area 1 (Ilwaco) and Marine Area 2 ( Westport).Complete fishing report
