Diamond Valley Lake fishing report

Very good bass fishing as bass spawn is in full swing here. The East Dam, Rawson Cove, the south west corner and shallows with flat rocky spots are holding spawning bass. Most of the fish are in the 2-to 4-pound range, with an occasional bigger female landed. The fish are between 5 and 20 feet deep. Drop-shotting purple or green worms, Carolina rigged brush hogs, watermelon or green pumpkin Senkos, and tube jigs are the ticket right now. Shore anglers having success with swimbaits, with some landing fish up to 11 pounds. Open daily.
