Lake Ontario fishing

Wind has been blowing in pretty good the last few days, inhibiting what otherwise would be some good fishing. When the wind settles down, salmon should be found in 120 feet, 80 feet down. Otherwise it’s pretty much a mixed-bag. Pike are starting to hit in the bays. Rubber baits seem to be working best. As far as the rest, lakers are still poor with no word on perch. A few smallmouth are showing up when trolling with divers, around 10 to 12 feet.
