Striped bass Raritan Bay

Some huge striped bass are being caught on bunker in Raritan Bay, with keepers up to 531/2 pounds reported in recent days. Bluefishing also is excellent, with plenty of 15-17-pound slammers being caught both from boats and lots of 10-12 pounders from the surf. Big blues also are plentiful out at the Barnegat Ridge, where good numbers of false albacore and bonito are being taken too.
