Spinnerbaits and bass fishing logs

When you are fishing for Bass always look for wood. Wood is a magnet for Bass and is without a doubt the number one place to try and catch them. Fallen trees and standing timber along the bank are great.
Start by casting along the edge of the wood, retrieving fast so the spinnerbait runs no deeper than one foot below the surface. If you are not having success using this approach my next option would be to slow down my retrieve and allow the lure to run at a 2 or 3 foot depth. You would be surprised the difference this can and will make.Let the spinnerbais bump along the logs and fall slowly this will trigger bass to bite.
