As far as giving any tips for those fishermen who do make it out to try their hand at catching the big one, I would suggested they stick to worms and phoebes, as the water is so cold.Fish are still slugish.

1000 Islands Fishing

This is one of the most beautiful rivers in the U.S. The fishing is great and the river is clean and beautiful. Alexandria Bay New York.The tour boat ride lasted 2 1/2 hours on the St.Lawrence river and was a spectacular ride enjoying the views of the 1000 islands in the St.Lawrence river.

One of the best times of the year to fish for largemouth bass is in the spring. Bass fishing is a very popular sport especially in the St Lawrence river in upstate New York. Learning to catch bass in a lake or river is part of the challenge fishermen face. Here are a few tips on how to catch bass in the spring time of the year.

When you are getting ready to start fishing you need to go to your local sporting goods store. You need to buy a fishing license and make sure to take some kind of identification. You will need your drivers license and in some cases a utility or phone bill. Make sure to check with your local division of wild life for the laws about bass fishing in your state. Some states like in upstate New York the bass fishing season doesn't start until the 3 weekend in June. Now that you have checked your state's fishing regulations your ready to go bass fishing in the spring.
