Smallmouth bass and walleyes fishing tips

Smallmouth bass and walleyes often are deep in wood or rocks. Slip-bobbers with nightcrawlers and leeches can work.
Muskies should hit surface baits and bucktails on moonlit nights in the coming week.
Crankbaits and spinnerbaits worked well two weeks ago by day, with 54 muskies caught and released by 140 teams in a Eagle River Chain tournament. The largest was a 48-incher; most ran 34 to 40 inches. Read more tips
