If you want to do something really special while the local lakes and seasons are at that in-between stage, try steelhead fishing in the Lower Niagara River. Fishing has been hot lately. Several steelhead have been weighed in the mid-teens. Soon, in another column, I will pass along some fishing tips for the Lower Niagara.
